report, research, tangibles

From Monday 25th of january 2010 this blog will report from the 4th Tangible and Embedded Information conference taking place in Cambridge Massachusetts at the M.I.T. MediaLab. The conference will present current explorations, innovations and research reports from all over the world to topics of tangible interfaces, gestural interactions, embedded art and informations, physical computing and design. Yo can have a look on the featured projects here.

The last years Christian Zoellner was making interviews, filming demos and writing critics on projects, talks and discussions. For this years conference christian will do this again, alongside with Sascha Bruk, research fellow at the Institute for Design and Innovation in Dresden. Together they will cover the whole conference, trying to get as much material reflected here onto the blog. Another difference to the last years is that Christian and Sascha will propably give a workshop on internet journalism for designers as well. Christian will also present a project during the explorations-session.

This project would not be possible without fundings. We want to thank Prof. Axel Kufus from the University of the Arts Berlin,  Prof. Dr. Markus Wacker, founding member of the Dresden based upcoming Gestural Interaction Group and Prof. Dr. Jörg Petruschat from the Institute for Design and Innovation for their financial and spiritual support. We will give our best!
